Derived from the “yellow” (giallo in Italian) covered Mondadori murder-mystery novels, the Giallo, or Gialli, is a horror film sub-genre soaked in blood, beauty and fetishism blurring the lines from art-house to exploitation, shocking audiences worldwide.
Mixed & Edited by Las Vegas DJ and filmmaker, Jimmie Gonzalez, LAST NIGHT A DJ TOOK MY LIFE features 17 of the genres most notable films and soundtracks from the likes of maestros Dario Argento, Ennio Morricone, Sergio Martino, Bruno Nicolai, Lucio Fulci and Riz Ortolani.
