The virginal Anne gets an unexpected visitor at her home, and this simple premise devolves into a whirlwind of sex and terror in this crazy grindhouse adult “roughie,” THE MAN AT THE DOOR. This mysterious hour-long feature played at the bottom of double-bills at adult film houses in 1976 without much fanfare, and without any identifying credits except for a standard “A FILM BY JOHN RUYTER” title card at the head of the film.
