In Police Story 3: Supercop, respected Police Inspector Chan Ka Kui (Jackie Chan) volunteers to go undercover in a Chinese prison in order to infiltrate a ruthless drug cartel. Ingratiating himself into the system, Chan helps to break cartel member Panther (Yuen Wah) out of prison and, joined by undercover agent Inspector Jessica Yang (Michelle Yeoh), they travel to Hong Kong to join Panther’s gang. Initially accepted by gang leader Chaibat (Ken Tsang), their operation is seemingly threatened when Ka Kui’s girlfriend May (Maggie Cheung) accidentally reveals his true identity.
